Check out these daily digital art classes!

Looking for more art lessons? I'm working on adding in extra, and optional lessons but in the meantime look below for info on two amazing opportunities to get some extra art in each day! Just wanted to share these fun finds with everyone!

Check out this elementary art teacher who is holding live art lessons through facebook and Instagram every weekday until schools reopen! She's been teaching art for 21 years and share projects that will work for multiple grade levels.

Want to join? Find her on Instagram @cassie_stephenz or facebook https://www.facebook.com/cassiestephensart/

Each week she comes up with a new theme that she centers the whole week around.

This week is Zany Scientist week. She posts early about each project and what supplies you would need in order to do it so you can be prepared. Check out today's examples!

Mo Willems, beloved author of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Knuffle Bunny, and the Elephant and Piggy series,s is here to make your weekdays a little better. Last week he started releasing a new "Lunch Doodle” video each weekday at 1 PM. New videos are posted to the Mo Willems page on the Kennedy Center's website, just click the image!

Willems is encouraging students to send him questions at LUNCHDOODLES@kennedy-center.org, and he’ll try to answer some of the questions in his videos. “I know a lot of you guys are not in school. You’re at home right now, because of all the things that are going on. Well guess what? I’m at home, too,” he said in a video press release. “We’re gonna hang out together. Matter of fact, I’m really looking forward to it.”

Check out episode one from last week. If you miss a day don't worry. They're all still posted online! You can doodle with MO anytime! Enjoy, and have fu!

I'll keep posting about other opportunities to explore art online as we continue our digital art journey. There are so many resources but I thought I'd share these two very special ones first! Share your art with me if you decide to join in on either opportunity!
